Emad El Sewedy establishment, founded in 1961, leveraged its expertise to become a leading Egyptian wholesaler of electrical appliances. In 2007, we embarked on a new chapter with the establishment of El Sewedy Lighting, a joint venture with Gunesler Electric, a Turkish manufacturer with a rich history dating back to 1963.

This partnership, initially named the Egyptian Turkish Co. for Lighting in 2004, united our commercial acumen with Turkish craftsmanship. Together, we produced a comprehensive range of high-quality lighting solutions and ballasts, rapidly capturing a significant share of the Egyptian market.

I-led for LED lighting (Established 2016):

Recognizing the growing demand for energy-efficient lighting solutions, I-led was established in 2016 to specialize in LED lighting technology. This dedicated focus allows us to deliver cutting-edge LED products that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

 

 

Elsewedy for Lighting and Cable (Established Jan. 2017):

In January 2017, Elsewedy expanded its focus to encompass not only lighting solutions but also high-quality cables. This broader range of products caters to a wider range of electrical needs within the construction and infrastructure sectors.

 

Elsewedy for Lighting and Technology Factory (Established Dec. 2017):

To further solidify our commitment to innovation and quality control, Elsewedy established a dedicated lighting and technology factory in December 2017. This in-house production facility allows us to ensure the highest standards of manufacturing and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
